LAND GRABBERS FRUSTRATE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT, FOOD AND SUSTAINABILITY AND SABOTAGE  ON GOOD GOVERNANCE 

 The land grabbers have begun serious disheartening attacks on agricultural investment in a manner that would worsen the already weakening food sustainability struggle in Nigeria. Evidences of their nefarious act  is now seen in Rivers state in the act of bulldozing  thousands of agricultural investment ( in Igbo Eche, Etche, Umuagwa, Eneka and subordinate  communities of Port Harcourt) most recent is the attacks in Eneka which effected the model hybreed agricultural investment and asset  ( Researched model managed by some professor in relevant area headed by Prof.  S.F Amakiri ) at mature phase with prospect of over One billion two hundred Million Naira  ( N1.2B) in  the next two years . The value of asset destroyed in the 19plot investment is in hundreds of millions (beyond N200M)

The project as a functional model with proven economic capacity, intended to be presented to  government at various levels and  international organization, whose interest have been alleviating poverty and assuring food sustainability in Nigeria and Africa and large; to be copied to enrich our youths thereby assuring food sufficiency for Nigeria,  and as well increase the internal generated income by trillions of Naira.  The farm – a model  crops and animal farm cultivated with various species of crops and cultured with  various species of micro, macro and large species animal undergoing various stages of cross breeding  and expected to recycle waste from  bye produce  of processing agric produce to enhance each other and generate great wealth, details of the farm visibility is available in the Prof. S.F. The fight against agriculture had assumed a very harsh tone since 2021 when attacks on farm by Boko haram, Bandits, had posed retardation to agricultural production . The attacks have now been worsened in the south by land grabbers’ syndicates who hide in the euphoria of estate /property developer companies and agencies, unleashing hardship on farmers, and destroying ancient land marks.

 It had been mentioned that these land grabber syndicates, organize themselves by enriching and luring strategically positioned persons such as lawyers, surveyor, judges, police officers, military personnel in active service;  and evil minded community leaders, militant, cult leaders Etc; with costly gifts and money; and ensuring that they utilize their position in  bias manner to ensure the evil plot of the land  grabbers , aimed primarily to dispossess  land owners of their landed asset and sell them unaware prospecting buyer.

The main strategy of the Land Grabber Syndicate includes:

1.    Identifying the land or asset of interest

2.    Use their surveyor to cock up document

3.    Cock up stories of ownership dating decades back,

4.    Advertise interest area , as potential estate and commence marketing  for patronage – including radio and TV advert, apart from other media mean ( unfortunately the advert media do not affirm authenticity.

5.    File in suit against the real  owners in their absence or use of false representation

6.    Obtain judgment  from un-inform or influenced judges

7.    Suddenly maliciously damage existing properties  in perpetrated court order

8.    Forcefully take possession and suffer owner to die of  heart attack due to the sudden mishap

9.    The true owner, who may be desperately resistant are either murdered or assassinated.

10. Those indicating strength, they threaten with militant and cultist, with readiness to assassinate

11. In the least case of slight pity they pay out whatever they feel like paying  and demand short time vacation of owner and possession of the proper.

In some other case, they may just lunch sudden attack on the landed asset; in a day they fill it will be difficult to challenge them, mostly weekend associated with holidays. With sound bull dozers, and would root out all evidence of ownership and possession.,  barring the owners with threat of assassination or murder by the cult or militant group - who they claim bought the space. Using same strength and threat they station their militant about the area, and bring in uninformed buyers to inspect freely; and sell the spaces unchallenged; Then they use part of proceed to gratify officials and other interest group and thwart, proceeding of prosecution or legal action and fair judgment.

To worsen the scenario, the police easily give up on matter ensued by land grabber, even when it is glaring, that some aspect are criminal action.

Some daring victim resort to Juju, and Voodoo, which often catch up with the buyers, others resort  to some spiritual means, which curses and spiritual plague loom around the buyer, some of the syndicate and their benefactors.

Question raised by concerned persons, such as eyewitnesses, victims, vulnerable landed asset owners are below:

·         How long will this wicked act continue?

·         Is the government sincere to her claims of economic reforms, which agriculture as a sure front?

·         Will leaders in government continue to watch carefree these criminal indulgence, making people lose confidence the more on the primary obligation governance – security of life and food on the table of governed?

A call to all concerned, is now stronger than ever.

·         The legislature at various at level should rise to the challenge to raise bill.

·         Governor set committee and panel to investigate and proffer solution.

·         Judiciary should be up on duty to verified , fair justice

·         Media should open up to complains, fact finding and some level of verification – not just to advertise false hood, fraud and undertone act of illegalities

·         The police should be allow some right closely investigate criminal aspect of land grabbing with police officer of reknown integrity  like Justice Ephraim of Ops sting in charge

·          Land and housing step up standards and procedure to enhance land security and make open

·         Militants remember, your love ones, benefactor, you are exposing to spiritual attacks

·          All other members of the syndicate and benefactors, remember your loved ones, your life under spiritual attacks and your soul  - what will it profit you to gain so much of this world and loss your soul

·         Land buyer and potential land lords, be ware and very vigilant the truth is said ‘shine your eye well’. Verify using multiple methods
